Angel’s Heart Dog Rescue is a small homefront rescue located near the Orange County/Riverside County border. The primary focus is to rescue a few dogs from animal shelters who are red-listed for no other reason than there are too many dogs in an overpopulated state shelter system, and they simply need more time for someone to notice them. Ange's Heart frequently looks for dogs that others will not give a chance to, or who are overlooked.

Animal Control officers with big hearts have a place at a little shelter in Delano CA. Their fight to keep 'em alive and make do with what they have is heroic. Matched measure for measure by local volunteer Laura Vega and a small circle of like-minded support. Sheer will and the determination to save lives is what it takes to exercise the dogs and grab photos and videos for networking to the public and to rescues. Most often it’s groups in the San Francisco area who say ‘yes’ so www.nopawsleftbehindrescue.org is also crucial. This non-profit provides weekly transport; depending on donations to keep the tank full and wheels rolling.
Even with a new shelter structure, the kennels are always full. But the dedication I began witnessing in 2012 is unwavering to this day.
Hope lives in and for each of those kennel dogs.

We envision a life for buffalo in which they thrive within the state of inherent wildness as expressed in the Buffalo Bill of Rights. We also envision a world in which buffalo and all other native wildlife are given precedence on public land, and that buffalo herds will remain as a self-regulating sustainable population, and a viable genetic source for the future evolution potential of the species.
