Twice a year CWC invites the public to take a look at their wondrous wildlife rescue and rehab. Seeing in real life is hard to believe thrilling; you can get a glimpse here: http://www.cawildlife.org. Baby birds are fed every 30 minutes, 12-14 hours a day - just a smidge of the care they give the sick, injured and orphaned. A kids-must-see treasure nestled in the Santa Monica Mountains. |

A close-up of yourself, what's the impulse? How compelling can vanity be? What's the fascination?
Compassion, responsibility, empathy, caring about something beyond self-interest, let's send that 'face' out to the world. A shelter dog is a living, breathing message. A life in peril. A life saved. You know what they say about one picture. So I share these selfies, each snapshot a moment in time riding rescue's underground railroad. Picture that. Oh snap. |
