happpppy birthday to me!
i'm giving myself a place to show what i can do, to advocate and perhaps to move you to consider what you can do to make the world a kinder place.

the best birthday present i can give myself is for others to sign petitions connected to links i'll provide here, join me at a protest i mention, help a shelter dog on death row or learn about and act on animal, ethical or environmental issues i consider important. each of us has a mighty voice. believe and you will achieve.

Happy Update: the white Pit Bull shown in the OCCUPUPPY pictures was fostered by Sabina (the incredible woman who is opening our eyes to the plight of the tiny Delan shelter) and eventually made it to a wonderful home in Nevada. He recently underwent expensive, life-saving surgery that revealed internal scar tissue from sever abuse as a puppy. But he is fully healed and surrounded by love in his new family. Thanks to Kathleen's savvy networking, OCCUPUPPY saved him and many others in a short window of time. I am still shocked at how effective her getting-the-word-out was. POWERFUL.

don't confuse anyone, YOU were the angel of Occupuppy. there was no Occupuppy til YOU found a way. your fortitude was the magnet that pulled in Bill Dyer and Isabel Gallardo, Erika Brunson and Sabina and and and... AND you're still at it! finding a way to get spay/neuter done in the Antelope Valley for those with no/low income - honored to know you.
